Yesterday 30/6/2007 members of the American Organization Numero 3 started to analyze human and bird samples from different areas in Qena governorate to unveil the mystery of bird flu disease. The results of the examined bird samples were negative.

Members of Numero 3 team received on 29/6/2007 results of the samples delivered to headquarters of the organization but they did not unveil the analysis' results.

Dr Hatem El-Gabali, Minister of Health invited members of the team to come to Qena after noting that there are some differences between human and the bird samples.

According to a Veterinary source the two human cases which were discovered lately in Maida Garah El-Tohami a ten-year-old girl died and Emad el-Daramalli a four-year-old boy recovered had no bird equivalent cases moreover the died case had no b irds in the family house.

Medical sources said that the disease may have taken a new advanced form specially it was impossible to find cases in summer and particularly in Upper Egypt as the temperature reaches 41c.
