On Sunday 10/5/2009, human bird flu infected case number 69 was reported for Samar Mouneer Khalaf, 5 years old from Tama, Sohag Governorate. The symptoms appeared on her on 7/5/2009 and she entered the Fever Hospital in Sohag on 9/5/2009 while suffering from a high temperature after being in contact with bird flu suspected poultry. The girl was given the Tamiflu and her case is stable.
