On Wednesday 13/5/2009, human bird flu infected case number 70 was reported for Mahmoud Ali el-Shafei, 4 and half years old, Kafr Saqr in al-Sharqiyah governorate.

The symptoms appeared on him on 10/5/2009 and he was admitted to Zagazig Fever Hospital on 11/5/2009 while suffering from a high temperature after being in contact with infected poultry.

He was then moved to Manshiet al-Bakri Hospital.

He was given the Tamiflu drug and his case is stable.
