The Ministry of Health announced yesterday 26/5/2009 new two bird flu-infected human cases for two children: Ahmed Rabie Mohamed Ibrahim, 4 years old in the city of Hahia, Sharqiya governorate, and Hasnaa Abdullah Ali Hassan, 4 years old in the village of Emreet, Abu Hammad Center, Sharqiya governorate.

The spokesman of the Ministry said the symptoms of bird flu appeared on the two children after being in contact with poultry raised at home suspected of hosting the deadly virus. He also noted that the two injuries would be taken to Manshiet Al-Bakri Hospital in Cairo for treatment after taking Tamiflu, indicating that the two cases are now stable. It should be noted that these two injuries are number 75 and 76 in Egypt since the deadly virus has made its debut in Egypt where 27 cases died.
